How do i become a Fashion Designer?
im looking into becoming a fashion designer. im a pretty good artist and i like to doodle Dresses in my notebooks and i just think it would be really cool to become a fashion designer.
WHAT do i need to become one and HOW do i become one?

The chances are slim. Very slim. Doodles sure aren’t going to cut it. You need to get a sketch book and detail your garmets and include swatches. And also, just because YOU think your designs look good doesn’t mean they are. It’s not about what you would like to wear, it’s about what other people will buy. You have to study fashion. Look at runway pictures online, subscribe to every Fashion Magazine out there, read up on it and most importanly keep up with the trends. You need to go to school and get a degree. Take some drawing classes. If you want to be sucessful in this and you’re serious about it, then it will take a lot of work, because it sure doesn’t happen over night.
